Again no wind so headed of to a decent surf spot for some surf. When I
arrived, it looked pretty average with 1 or 2 3ft sets coming in. I got out
there justbefore high tide and then conditions improved dramatically around
high tide and there were some nice easily rideable 4 ft waves coming in
which were perfect for giving me some long rides. There were the odd
occasional big sets coming through that were the biggest ive seen in NZ and
a bit too much for me, around the 5-6ft mark.
An hour or so after high tide, the sea breeze kicked in messing up the
surf a bit and it deterioated quite a bit so I came in but one of my best
surf sessions since Ive been in NZ.
